The Hearing Impaired New Logo

Following our recent competiton open to every student in Havering to

design a logo for the Hearing Impaired Unit at Sanders Draper School,

on 22nd May MP James Brokenshire judged our competition and here are

the results.

Ist place and receiving £50 Lakeside vouchers = Mehleen Briushti age 13

from Sanders Draper School

Runners up :

Hope Burrows age 14 from Sanders Draper School

Joanne Hardy age 15 from Sanders Draper School

Alex Cordaro age 11 from Hacton Primary School

Ashley Clark age 12 from Sanders Draper School

Ruby - Class 1 from Scargill Primary School

Thanks go to Mc Donalds, Millies Cookies, Simply Stunning, Blockbusters

and Swan Bookshop for donating the runners up prizes.

James Brokenshire said, "I am delighted to have acted as judge of the

Hearing Impaired Unit competition. The HIU does fantastic work with

children at Sanders Draper School, and the number of entries and the quality of the entries were extremely impressive. I wish the HIU continued success and hope

that the logo will be displayed with pride."
