Match Report
1st Half
So the Game got under way, Kelsey Park Sports College started well while Sanders got off to a shaky start. It was end to end stuff and the first clear chance went to Sanders where Alex Coney was one on one with the keeper but unfortunately put it past the post.
Sanders had more chances but failed to hit the back of the net.
Kelsey Park pilled on the pressure, a lack of concentration in the Sanders defence lead the goal of the match. Straight from the start with a bursting run from Mason Oakley down the line and whipped in an immense ball to find Shaun Farrows head but went straight to the keepers hands from the keepers kick Greg Knock challenged for the header which lead to a nasty cut which made him come off for treatment. With a key defender missing from the heart of the defence Kelsey Park countered and finished their chance well and put it past George Clark. Half time was near and Sanders had a final chance, a through ball from Jack Munns with a left foot volley set up James Mitchell who did not fail to hit the back of the net to end half time with a score 2 - 1.
2nd Half
2nd half started on a high as the crowd got behind Sanders. Danny Walker done a throw to Billy Whitcomb who done a peach of a ball down to James Mitchell who done a cheeky ball into the box and scrappy defending lead to Jack Munns equaliser and the crowd went mad. Sanders got the ball back and Shaun Farrow played a ball across the box and James Mitchell slotted it home. So it was 3 - 2 and Sanders were looking comfortable until Ben Nicoll gave away a free kick on the edge of the box but the out come went straight to Georges hands. George rolled it out to Billy Whictcomb who switched it to Ben Nicoll and played a ball down the line to Mason Oakley who cut in and played a ball to James Mitchell and crossed it in and Shaun Farrow finished off the game at 4 - 2 and put Sanders through to the last 16.
