The Governing Body
The Governing Body of The Sanders Draper School and Specialist Science College is very proud of the continued achievements of the school.
The job of the Governing Body is to work with the school to set its vision and long term aims, agree the priorities for development and to monitor and evaluate its overall performance to ensure we provide the best possible educatiion for our students. The Governing body works very hard to support the school throughout the year. This support takes many forms:
- Twice Termly Governing Body Meetings
- Committees
- Interviewing new senior staff
- Exclusions
- Early Intervention
- Mentoring

Governors are also present at functions such as Open Evenings, the Presentations Evening and Sports Days. Contact with the Chair of Governors or the Clerk to the Governors may be made through the school.
