Parent Mail

We are always looking for ways to improve our communication with parents and carers. Often sending information home on paper is rather ‘hit and miss’. We are also aware of the environmental impact of the amount of paper that we use as an institution.

We use an email and text message service called ParentMail for communications with parents and carers. We believe that if you use this service, you will receive information in a more reliable and efficient manner, and you will no longer need to trawl through the contents of your child’s school bag.

In order to use this service we need to keep our records up to date. Parent Mail is registered with the Data Protection Registrar. In addition, there is no advertising associated with the scheme. We give forms to all parents at the Academic Review Days regarding email and mobile phone numbers that you are happy for us to use.

IMPORTANT – All School messages will be sent from messages@parentmail.co.uk. Please make sure that you add this address to your approved sender list in order to prevent messages being blocked by your SPAM/JUNK filter.

The Parent Mail service is used to publish information regarding Academic Review Days, Parents Evenings, and end of term newsletters. The text messaging service will be used to alert parents that their children are absent from school. In addition, Parent Mail will be used to communicate emergency school closures.
